Scheduling Department

The Scheduling Office ensures the effective usage of space at Manhattan School of Music and assists in the planning of all private teaching studio, practice, academic, and performance activities occurring at the school.

Scheduling Practice Rooms

  1. Students may schedule practice rooms in person at the Scheduling Office window between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  2. Students may schedule practice rooms online at scheduling.msmnyc.edu.
  3. Reservable hours for practice are between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. in the practice rooms and classrooms, everyday other than Precollege Saturdays.

Student Recitals

Please see all the necessary forms for the student recital application and confirmation process below. Your recital is NOT confirmed until you complete and return all the necessary forms by the required deadlines.

You must also fill out your Program Repertoire Form. To do this, go to the student website (http://students.msmnyc.edu) go to MY Info section and click the My Program Repertoire Form link.

If you’d like your recital to be audio or video recorded, you must fill out the following form and submit it directly to the Recording Arts Office in Room 312. Please note that beginning this Academic year, all students giving a final Required graduation recital can receive a Stereo Audio Recording for NO FEE by submitting the following form, which outlines all recording services offered by MSM’s Myers Recording Studio:
